Producer- director Lingusamy is confident that his maiden production venture Deepavali would succeed at the box office.

Lingusamy says, “I am happy that my maiden production venture Deepavali starring Jayam Ravi and Bhavana has shaped up well. Director Ezhil has done his best to render an engrossing film.” “I hope to continue producing good movies,” he adds.

Editor Mohan, the veteran editor turned producer and Jayam Ravi's father, was only too happy at the special screening of the movie held in Chennai recently. He too, on his part, expressed confidence about the film's success.

Lingusamy, who is directing Vikram's Bheema, has reportedly approached director Boopathy Pandiyan, who directed Thiruvilayadal Arambam, for his next production venture.

Boopathy Pandian has so far churned out two films Devadhaiyai Kandein and Thiruvilayadal Arambam, of which the latter is a big hit.
